ENGLAND, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 8: Charlton Athletic was held to a 1-1 draw by Rotherham United on Saturday.
Charlton Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Icelandic forward Gudmundsson in the 27th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rotherham United with a saving goal from Argentine forward Luciano Becchio in the 70th minute.
Charlton Athletic FC are down in 7th place with 14 points from 8 games, one point behind Sheffield Wednesday FC.
