Championship (Week 8) : Boro beats Brentford 4-0

ENGLAND, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their success against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 4-0 victory over Brentford this Saturday.

Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Grant Leadbitter in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Adomah '50, Bamford '68 and Garcia Martinez '89).

Middlesbrough FC climbed to fifth place with 15 points from 8 games, only one point behind Watford FC.
