Championship (Week 9) : Brentford defeats Leeds United 2-0
ENGLAND, Sep. 27, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 9: After losing 0-3 to Norwich City on September 20 and 4-0 to Middlesbrough on September 20, the Bees bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Leeds United this Saturday.
Brentford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Ramallo in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bees further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by McCormack in the 77th minute.
Brentford FC climbed to 11st place with 14 points from 9 games, tie on points with Blackburn Rovers FC.
