Championship (Week 10) : Watford defeats Brentford 2-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 10: After their 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on September 27 and 2-2 draw against Blackburn Rovers on September 27, the Hornets returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Brentford this Tuesday.

Watford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Nigerian forward Odion Ighalo in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hornets further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vydra in the 70th minute.

Watford FC climbed to third place with 20 points from 10 games, tie on points with Nottingham Forest FC.
