Championship (Week 9) : Fulham beats Birmingham City 2-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 27, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 9: After three straigth defeats, the Cottages bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Birmingham City this Saturday.

Birmingham City had started off well by taking the lead in the 38th minute with a goal by Welsh midfielder David Cotterill. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Cottages nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hoogland '63 and Rodallega '71).

Birmingham City FC are down in 21st place with 7 points from 9 games, one point behind Huddersfield Town AFC.
