Championship (Week 25) : Sheffield Wednesday defeats Forest 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 25: Three wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their success against Blackpool and Wigan Athletic, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest this Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Kieran Lee in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Owls further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Maguire in the 50th minute.
Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 8th place with 37 points from 25 games, 3 points behind Norwich City.
