ENGLAND, Dec. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their 1-0 win against Blackpool on December 26, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic this Tuesday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Austrian forward Atdhe Nuhiu in the 77th minute.
Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 10th place with 34 points from 24 games, only one point behind Blackburn Rovers FC.
