Championship (Week 24) : Watford beats Cardiff City 4-2
WALES, Dec. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: After losing 0-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 26, the Hornets returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Cardiff City this Sunday.
Adlène Guédioura scored dual goals
Cardiff City opened the score in the score in the 20th minute thanks to Adam Le Fondre, before Watford regained the advantage with Guédioura ('42) and Ighalo ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Hornets further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Guédioura '63 and Angella '83).
Watford FC climbed to fifth place with 41 points from 24 games, only one point behind Derby County FC, which has a game in hand.
