Championship (Week 24) : Ipswich defeats Charlton Athletic 3-0

ENGLAND, Dec. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Ipswich Town. After their success against Middlesbrough and Brentford, the Tractor Boys continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-0 victory over Charlton Athletic this Tuesday.

Ipswich Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Tommy Smith in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Tractor Boys further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Murphy '59 and McGoldrick '90).

Ipswich Town FC remains in second place with 47 points from 24 games, one point behind AFC Bournemouth.
