Championship (Week 23) : Charlton Athletic draw 1-1 with Cardiff City
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 23: The match between Charlton Athletic and Cardiff City ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Cardiff City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to English midfielder Tom Adeyemi in the 12th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Charlton Athletic with a saving goal from Icelandic forward Gudmundsson in the 88th minute.
Cardiff City climbed to 10th place with 31 points from 23 games, tie on points with Nottingham Forest FC, which has a game in hand.
