Championship (Week 26) : Bournemouth beats Rotherham 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 26: After losing 1-2 to Norwich City on January 10, the Cherries bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Rotherham United this Saturday.
Bournemouth dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Tommy Elphick in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cherries further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wilson in the 62nd minute.
AFC Bournemouth remains in first place with 51 points from 26 games, one point ahead of runner-up Ipswich Town FC.
