Championship (Week 26) : Leeds United and Birmingham City play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 26: The match between Leeds United and Birmingham City ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Birmingham City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Scottish defender Paul Caddis on penalty in the 8th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Leeds United with a saving goal from Leeds United midfielder Luke Murphy in the 86th minute.
Birmingham City FC climbed to 11st place with 35 points from 26 games, only one point behind Blackburn Rovers FC.
