Championship (Week 34) : Wigan Athletic beats Blackpool 3-1

ENGLAND, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 34: After losing 0-3 to Charlton Athletic on February 24 and 0-1 to Cardiff City on February 24, the Latics bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Blackpool this Saturday.

Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Korean midfielder Bo-kyung in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Maguire '67 and McClean '79).

Wigan Athletic FC remains in 23rd place with 28 points from 34 games, 3 points behind Millwall FC.
