ENGLAND, Apr. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 41: After a 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic on April 3, the Smoggies lost 2-0 against Watford.
Watford dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Troy Deeney in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hornets further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ighalo in the 65th minute.
Watford FC climbed to first place with 76 points from 41 games, one point ahead of runner-up Middlesbrough FC.
