ENGLAND, Apr. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 42: After losing 0-3 to Bolton Wanderers on April 6, Cardiff City returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Leeds United this Saturday.
Cardiff City forward Steve Morison opened the score in the 14th minute, before seeing Leeds United catch up in the 17th minute thanks to Philips. 1-1 at half time. Cardiff City eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Gunnarsson in the 62nd minute.
Cardiff City climbed to 12nd place with 55 points from 42 games, only one point behind Charlton Athletic FC.
