Championship (Week 9) : Sheffield Wednesday defeats Brentford 2-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their 3-2 win against Fulham on September 19, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Brentford this Saturday.

Sheffield Wednesday dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Austrian forward Atdhe Nuhiu in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Owls further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lucas Joao seconds before the end of regulation.

Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 11st place with 12 points from 9 games, tie on points with Nottingham Forest FC.
