Championship (Week 10) : Sheffield Wednesday beats Preston 3-1

ENGLAND, Oct. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 10: Three wins in a row for Sheffield Wednesday. After their success against Fulham and Brentford, the Owls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Preston this Saturday.

Sheffield Wednesday dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Kieran Lee in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Owls further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pudil '55 and McGugan '90).

Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 10th place with 15 points from 10 games, tie on points with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
