Reading dominated the first half thanks to goals from Blackman ('5) and Piazón ('9). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Reading FC climbed to third place with 15 points from 9 games, 2 points behind Middlesbrough FC, which has a game in hand.
