Championship (Week 40) : Fulham defeats Preston 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Fulham. After their 2-1 win against Milton Keynes Dons on April 2, the Cottages continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Preston this Tuesday.
Fulham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Scottish forward Ross McCormack in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cottages further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dembélé in the 74th minute.
Preston North End FC remains in 10th place with 56 points from 40 games, tie on points with Birmingham City FC, which has a game in hand.
