Championship (Week 40) : Reading beats Forest 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Reading. After their 0-1 win against Bolton Wanderers on April 2, the Royals continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest this Tuesday.
Nottingham Forest had started off well by taking the lead in the 41st minute with a goal by forward Ben Osborn. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Royals nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Vydra '68 and Norwood '81).
Reading FC remains in 13rd place with 51 points from 39 games, one point behind Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
