ENGLAND, Apr. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 40: Three wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their success against Hull and QPR, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town this Tuesday.
Gastón Ramírez scored dual goals
Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to goals from Leadbitter ('32 on penalty) and Ramírez ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ramírez in the 77th minute.
Middlesbrough FC remains in second place with 76 points from 39 games, one point behind Burnley.
