Championship (Week 39) : Boro beats QPR 3-2

ENGLAND, Apr. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 39: Two wins in a row for Middlesbrough. After their 1-0 win against Hull on March 18, the Smoggies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-2 victory over QPR this Friday.

Middlesbrough forward Rhodes Jordan opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing QPR catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Jamie Mackie. 1-1 at half time. The Smoggies eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Ramírez ('51) and Gibson ('57).

Middlesbrough FC climbed to second place with 73 points from 38 games, 2 points behind Burnley.
