Championship (Week 39) : Rotherham defeats Leeds United 2-1

ENGLAND, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 39: Two wins in a row for Rotherham United. After their 0-1 win against Ipswich Town on March 19, the Millers continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Leeds United this Saturday.

Rotherham United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Irish midfielder Lee Frecklington in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Millers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Halford on penalty seconds before the end of regulation.

Leeds United FC are down in 14th place with 47 points from 38 games, one point behind Reading FC.
