ENGLAND, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 39: After losing 3-0 to Sheffield Wednesday on March 19, the Addicks returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Birmingham City this Saturday.
Birmingham City midfielder Toral Jon opened the score in the 32nd minute, before seeing Charlton Athletic catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Gudmundsson Johann. 1-1 at half time. The Addicks eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Teixeira Jorge in stoppage time.
Birmingham City FC remains in 9th place with 56 points from 38 games, 3 points behind Ipswich Town FC.
