Championship (Week 44) : Brighton defeats Charlton Athletic 3-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 44: Five wins in a row for Brighton & Hove Albion. After their success against Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and QPR, the Seagulls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Charlton Athletic this Saturday.
Brighton & Hove Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Sam Baldock in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seagulls further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Skalak Jiri '55 and Hemed '90/penalty).
Brighton and Hove Albion FC remains in third place with 87 points from 44 games, tie on points with Middlesbrough FC.
