Championship (Week 6) : Reading beats Ipswich 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Reading. After their 0-1 win against Cardiff City on August 27, the Royals continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town this Friday.
Reading dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Jamaican midfielder Garath McCleary in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Williams on penalty in stoppage time.
Reading FC climbed to third place with 10 points from 6 games, only one point behind Fulham, which has a game in hand.
