Championship (Week 13) : Aston Villa defeats Reading 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 13: After their 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on October 15, the Villans bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Reading this Tuesday.
Aston Villa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Jonathan Kodjia in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Villans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ayew on penalty seconds before the end of regulation.
Reading FC are down in 10th place with 19 points from 13 games, tie on points with Queens Park Rangers.
