ENGLAND, Oct. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 13: Four wins in a row for Newcastle. After their success against Norwich City, Rotherham United and Brentford, the Magpies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Barnsley this Tuesday.

Dwight Gayle scored dual goals

Barnsley made Newcastle doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with two goals by Newcastle forward Dwight Gayle at '48 and '68.

Newcastle United climbed to first place with 28 points from 13 games, one point ahead of runner-up Norwich City.
