Championship (Week 14) : Barnsley beats Brentford 2-0
ENGLAND, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 14: After three straigth defeats, the Tykes returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Brentford this Saturday.
Barnsley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Adam Armstrong in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Tykes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Winnall Sam in the 67th minute.
Brentford FC are down in 11st place with 19 points from 14 games, one point behind Leeds United FC.
