ENGLAND, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 12: Three wins in a row for Newcastle. After their success against Norwich City and Rotherham United, the Magpies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Brentford this Saturday.
Dwight Gayle scored dual goals
Newcastle dominated the first half thanks to goals from Clark ('11) and Gayle ('16). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Magpies further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Gayle in the 49th minute.
Newcastle United climbed to second place with 25 points from 12 games, only one point behind Norwich City.
