Championship (Week 12) : Cardiff City beats Bristol City 2-1
WALES, Oct. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 12: After three straigth victories against Fulham, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, the Robins lost 2-1 against Cardiff City.
Cardiff City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by English midfielder Peter Whittingham in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Cardiff City players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bamba in the 67th minute.
Bristol City FC remains in fifth place with 20 points from 12 games, one point behind Brighton and Hove Albion FC, which has a game in hand.
