WALES, Oct. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 13: The match between Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Cardiff City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to English midfielder Peter Whittingham in the 9th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sheffield Wednesday with a saving goal from Czech midfielder Daniel Pudil in the 55th minute.
Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 6th place with 21 points from 13 games, 2 points behind Birmingham City FC.
