Championship (Week 30) : Forest beats Aston Villa 2-1

ENGLAND, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 30: Two wins in a row for Nottingham Forest. After their 2-0 win against Rotherham United on January 31, the Reds continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa this Saturday.

Aston Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Nottingham Forest catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Britt Assombalonga. 1-1 at half time. The Reds eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Brereton Ben in stoppage time.

Aston Villa remains in 14th place with 36 points from 29 games, tie on points with Brentford FC, which has a game in hand.
