ENGLAND, Mar. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Leeds United. After their 1-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday on February 25, the Whites continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Birmingham City this Friday.
Chris Wood scored dual goals
Leeds United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Chris Wood in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Whites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Wood '67 and Pedraza Alfonso '81).
Leeds United FC remains in fourth place with 64 points from 35 games, one point behind Huddersfield Town AFC, which has two games in hand.
