ENGLAND, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Newcastle. After their 1-2 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on February 28, the Magpies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Huddersfield Town this Saturday.

Newcastle dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ritchie ('10 on penalty) and Murphy ('32). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Magpies further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gayle in stoppage time.

Newcastle United remains in first place with 76 points from 35 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Brighton and Hove Albion FC.
