Championship (Week 35) : Fulham beats Preston 3-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 35: After their 2-2 draw against Cardiff City on February 25, the Cottages returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Preston this Saturday.
Fulham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Nigerian midfielder Sone Aluko in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cottages further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Martin '60 and Kebano Neeskens '77).
Fulham remains in 7th place with 56 points from 34 games, 5 points behind Sheffield Wednesday FC.
