WAD MADANI, Feb. 5, 2011 (AMP) — Sudan 2011 : Niger defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Saturday night at the Wad Madani Stadium.
The result put the Nigeriens second in Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Niger will meet group leaders South Africa at the Wad Madani Stadium on February 9, while Zimbabwe will face Ghana.
