OMDURMAN, Feb. 10, 2011 (AMP) — Sudan 2011 : DR Congo defeated Ivory Coast by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a CHAN group stage game on Thursday night at the Al-Merrikh Stadium in Omdurman.
The result put the Ivorians second in Group C with 3 points. DR Congo is third with 3 points. In their last game, Ivory Coast will meet group leaders Cameroon at the Al-Merrikh Stadium on February 14, while DR Congo will face Mali.
