SAN CRISTóBAL, Jun. 30, 2007 (AMP) — Venezuela 2007 : Uruguay defeated Bolivia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Uruguayans second in Group A with 3 points. Bolivia is bottom with one point. In their last game, Uruguay will meet third-placed Venezuela on July 3, while Bolivia will face Peru.
