MARACAIBO, Jun. 28, 2007 (AMP) — Venezuela 2007 : Paraguay defeated Colombia by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Thursday night.

The result put the Paraguayans top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet the United States on July 2, while Colombia will face Argentina.
