MARACAIBO, Jul. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Venezuela 2007 : Argentina defeated Colombia by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a Copa América group stage game on Monday night.

The result put the Argentine second in Group C with 6 points. Colombia is bottom with no points. In their last game, Argentina will meet group leaders Paraguay on July 5, while Colombia will face the United States.
