All the action happened in the first half, with Colombian striker Adrián Ramos goal in the 44th minute.
The result put the Colombians top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Colombia will meet second-placed Argentina at the Estadio 23 de Agosto on July 6, while Costa Rica will face Bolivia.
