KAOHSIUNG, Aug. 23, 2009 (AMP) — Japan 2010 (Qualifiers) : North Korea defeated Guam by a big score of 9-2 (halftime: 6-2), in a qualifying game for the 2010 EAFF East Asian Cup (Second Round) on Sunday afternoon at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung.
The result put the Koreans top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, North Korea will meet Hong Kong at the National Stadium on August 25, while Guam will face Taiwan.
