KAOHSIUNG, Aug. 25, 2009 (AMP) — Japan 2010 (Qualifiers) : Taiwan defeated Guam by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a qualifying game for the 2010 EAFF East Asian Cup (Second Round) on Tuesday night at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung.
The result put the Taiwanese third in the group with 3 points. Guam is bottom with no points. In their last game, Taiwan will meet group leaders North Korea at the National Stadium on August 27, while Guam will face Hong Kong.
