KAOHSIUNG, Aug. 23, 2009 (AMP) — Japan 2010 (Qualifiers) : Hong Kong defeated Taiwan by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 EAFF East Asian Cup (Second Round) on Sunday night at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung.
The result put Hong Kong second in the group with 3 points. In their next game, Hong Kong will meet group leaders North Korea at the National Stadium on August 25, while Taiwan will face Guam.
