NICE, Jun. 12, 2016 (AMP) — France 2016 : Poland defeated Northern Ireland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Euro group stage game on Sunday night at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.
45 minutes of play and neither the Poles nor the Irishs have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Milik in the 51st minute.
The result put the Pole top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Poland will meet Germany at the Allianz Riviera on June 16, while Northern Ireland will face Ukraine.
