MUSCAT, Jan. 8, 2009 (AMP) — Oman 2009 : Saudi Arabia defeated Yemen by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 5-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Thursday at the Royal Oman Police Stadium in Muscat.
The result put the Saudi top of Group B with 4 points. Yemen is bottom with no points. In their last game, Saudi Arabia will meet second-placed the United Arab Emirates at the Royal Oman Police Stadium on January 11, while Yemen will face Qatar.
