ISA TOWN, Jan. 6, 2013 (AMP) — Bahrain 2013 : Kuwait defeated Yemen by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town.
The result put the Kuwaiti top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Kuwait will meet Iraq at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium on January 9, while Yemen will face Saudi Arabia.
