ISA TOWN, Jan. 6, 2013 (AMP) — Bahrain 2013 : Iraq defeated Saudi Arabia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Sunday night at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town.
The result put the Iraqi top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Iraq will meet group leaders Kuwait at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium on January 9, while Saudi Arabia will face Yemen.
