La Liga (Week 25) : Barcelona defeats Granada 3-1
SPAIN, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: After losing 0-1 to Malaga on February 21, Barca bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Granada this Saturday.
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitić in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Suárez '48 and Messi '70).
FC Barcelona remains in second place with 59 points from 25 games, one point behind Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
